The Arts, Entertainment and Media Management curriculum is
divided into three levels. Students may take Level I, Level II and Level III courses concurrently, provided
prerequisite requirements are met.
Level I courses cover basic
skills and management fundamentals. Among these are the required core
courses. This core is designed to provide each student with
the essential knowledge necessary for advancement in each of
the specialized areas.
Level II courses are advanced AEMM courses and have required prerequisites.
AEMM majors must complete at least six (6) credit hours of Level II courses.
Important please read: Students will be held to the AEMM major requirements in effect at the time of their enrollment or re-enrollment as listed in the Columbia College Chicago catalog. The AEMM Department reserves the right to substitute courses without changing the total number of credit hours required for the major.
Students are expected to be aware of the AEMM Department policies and are advised to read the Columbia College Chicago catalog and AEMM Department materials each semester before registering. In addition, students are urged to meet with their faculty advisor at least once each semester.
